ShipConstructor 2009 is not officially supported on Windows 7 (32 bit or 64 bit) due to lack of official Autodesk support for AutoCAD 2009 on Windows 7. AutoCAD 2009 and ShipConstructor 2009 are fully supported on Windows Vista.
Although AutoCAD 2009 and ShipConstructor 2009 are not officially supported on Windows 7, substantial ShipConstructor 2009 testing has been performed using AutoCAD 2009 and Windows 7 and no Windows 7 specific issues have been encountered. Additionally Windows 7 and Windows Vista are very similar application platforms. These two factors indicate a high probability that AutoCAD 2009 and ShipConstructor 2009 can be successfully used with Windows 7. However, due to lack of official support from AutoDesk, official support from ShipConstructor cannot be given.
